All Schools Day enters its second century in 2014 with the theme “101 — a New Century of Fun!”

The longest running celebration of its kind, All Schools Day has grown from a parade and 8thgrade recognition banquet in 1914 to a week-long, countywide celebration.

The parade is a slice of pure Americana with floats, bands, May Day queens and clowns stretching for seven blocks through Downtown McPherson.
