PW-011 Avenue A & Treatment Plant Road

The Avenue A Street Improvement project consists of widening and reconstruction of Avenue A from Oak Street to just West of the Railroad tracks. The Treatment Plant Road project consists of reconstruction of Treatment Plant Road from Avenue A to the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

PW-024 Ash Street Partial Reconstruction 2016

This is a Partial Reconstruction of Ash Street from Kansas Ave to the Railroad tracks just North of Euclid. This project consists of New ADA Ramps and Curb at Marlin and Euclid, New drainage improvements, and New Asphalt pavement throughout the 3 Blocks. This project is scheduled for construction in Late Summer of 2016

KLINK 2015

Kansas Dept of Transportation City Connecting Link "KLINK" Resurfacing Program. This is a Local Partnership Program. By combining resources, KDOT and the City of McPherson are making a difference in improving the State's Transportation System. This 2015 year, a Ultra-thin Bonded Asphalt Surfacing Overlay on US-56 Highway/Kansas Ave, From Maple St to Old 81 Highway/K-153 will be done.

KLINK 2016

This project is a Mill and Asphalt Overlay on K-153 (Old 81 Bypass) From Kansas Ave heading South to the South City Limits, just past Avenue A. This project will repave the entire width of the street and shoulders.

CIP-0014 - Centennial Drive Widening 2016

This project is a widening of Centennial Dr from Kansas Ave to the Railroad Tracks. This project will widen out Centennial to accommodate turning lanes for the Hampton Inn and and future building expansion on the West side of Centennial Dr by Midway Motors. This project consist of Bridge Extensions, New Pavement, New Sidewalk Accessibility, and New Drainage Upgrades

Centennial Drive Sewer Improvements Phase II

The project generally consists of an approximate total of 3,500 linear feet of sanitary sewer improvements. The location of these improvements include south from Pump Station No. 8 located on the south side of the K&O Railroad right-of-way to just north of the Union Pacific Railroad, then west along the north side of the Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way, then south crossing the Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way and ending just north of the Midway Motors Car Dealership.

Avenue A / Centennial Dr Sidewalk - Phase II

Continuation of Multi-Use 10' Trail from Deerfield Dr, down to the City Dog Park on Centennial Dr, thence Northerly along Centennial Dr to South Front Street.

PW-034 North Front St Reconstruction 2017

This project was a Total Reconstruction of N Front Street form McDonalds Entrance to Champlin St. This project was total replacement in concrete and added new stormwater inlets and piping. Along with the addition of turning lane striping at the intersection of N Front St and Champlin St.

PW-036 Gordon St Reconstruction 2017

This was a partnership project 'piggy backed' off of McPherson Colleges plan to rebuild their private pieces of Gordon St. The College hired and reconstructed Gordon Street from N Eshelman to N Lehmer St, and then the City had the Contractor continue the project and finish out the Public block of Gordon from N Eshelman St back to N Carrie St. This project widened Gordon Street to the new City Standards and improved stormwater drainage with new inlets and pipe at the intersection of Eshelman and Gordon.
